Don’t let the headline fool you the way it fooled me. This is in fact more of a reimagining story. Vulture is reporting that Fox is developing Mr. and Mrs. Smith remake, though we see reimagining as a clearer way of describing the direction the studio is taking.

Gugu Mbatha-Raw is going to play wife with the already announced Boris Kodjoe as the female lead on J.J. Abrams new pilot, spy series, Undercovers, for NBC.
According to THR, Undercovers was co-written by Abrams and Josh Reims, and revolves around a domesticated husband, Steve and Samantha, (Kodjoe, Mbatha-Raw) who are re-activated as CIA agents after years of retirement.
