A new trailer for Salmon Fishing in the Yemen has just popped online. While the title for the movie may sound a little fishy, the movie itself is heartwarming. Studios hiring screenwriters before a sequel has become somewhat of a standard practice and Lionsgate has just joined the club by hiring Slumdog Millionaire writer Simon Beaufoy to pen the screenplay for Catching Fire, the second book of Suzanne Collin’s The Hunger Games trilogy, a movie that hasn’t even been greenlit yet.

The BBC is reporting another team up with director Danny Boyle and writer Simon Beaufoy for an interesting concept that only Danny Boyle can make interesting. Fox Searchlight and Danny Boyle are teaming up to make 127 Hours. The film will
tell the tale of mountaineer Aron Ralston.
Boyle will be directing this film which should go into production in late 2010. At present the director has written a treatment, and writer Simon Beaufoy (Slumdog Millionaire) is in talks to write the script.
