Tim Robbins has joined the cast of The Green Lantern for Warner Bros., based on the popular DC Comics superhero, according to THR’s Heat Vision. Smallville, the hit Superman series on The CW, is premiering a TV movie this February that will feature a significantly huge DC character in Hawkman. Playing the role is Michael Shanks from SG-1 fame.
It seems DC might be keen on testing Hawkman’s commercialism with the mainstream. This might be because DC comics wants a Hawkman movie.
