Hours ago we reported that Patty Jenkins is in talks to direct Thor 2 and now EW has revealed some new plot details for the sequel. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige said that Thor would be visiting new worlds.

How many villains is the new Bond 23 film going to have? We do not know, but so far three names have been attached to what seems to be three different baddies for the film. First we heard Rachel Weisz, then Javier Bardem, and now Anthony Hopkins is being targeted.

Variety is reporting Rene Russo has joined the cast of the upcoming Marvel comic film, “Thor.” Russo will be playing Frigga, the mother of Thor, based loosely on Frigg of Norse mythology.
Production on the film begins in January of 2010 with Kenneth Branagh directing and Chris Hemsworth playing the hammer-weilding Thor. Paramount has set the release date…[ more ]
