Tekken Trailer Emerges Online! Break Out The Fighting Arcade!

It always interesting when a classic arcade fighter game hits the big screen. Two adaptations of Street Fighter have been made and sucked, there was some Mortal Kombats in there too, some okay, some bad, none good. Whats going to make Tekken any different? Its not going to theaters for starters. Secondly, the premise doesn’t lend itself to much so as a film your story naturally doesn’t have much to go on. Its almost an 80s nostalgic piece  and if Schwarzenegger (The Running Man) showed up it wouldn’t seem out of the ordinary, but isn’t today’s film audience past these types of premises? sure on a day to day basis but with Tekken you can just forgo that and have fun, enjoy watching people kick the shit out of each other, scantly clad bitches walking around showing off their stuff and that’s really all you need. Tekken is what it is and the first trailer just shows that. Don’t expect much from this but then again why would you?

I plan to see it (straight-to-dvd) just to have fun and enjoy the movies I loved as a kid, Enter the Dragon, Double Dragons and Best of the Best, Tekken falls in there somewhere.
