Sigourney Weaver Drops Some Major Ghostbusters 3 Story Details
Channel 4 posted an interview with Weaver, who not only said she might appear in Ghostbusters 3, but let some story details slip as well. Be warned, these could be BIG spoilers, so if you don’t want to know, stop here.
“I’m afraid to say it Ghostbusters 3 is happening, I hope people are excited about that. I don’t know if I’m going to be in it, I have had a couple of calls asking ‘would you read the script’. I know that my little son Oscar – who was kidnapped from me – I think he has grown up to be a Ghostbuster. I might be in it; I see nothing wrong with being in it, although I don’t think I will have a big part. I think Bill Murray has a little more to do with it – he’s a ghost.”
Oh yeah you read it, Bill Murray is a ghost and Oscar is a ghostbuster. Interesting to say the least. We have had conversations around the FusedFilm offices about a trained ghost friend of the team but never thought Murray would be that guy. No keep in mind this is based of Weaver’s look at a script that could have changed already, so none of this is confirmed. I do like having Oscar as a ghostbuster though.
