Iron Man 2 Viral Marketing Continues With Confusing News Clips
Last week, SHH was sent over the “first clue” in an Iron Man 2 viral ARG that’s on the verge of kicking off. Now our partner’s over at Movie Viral are telling that a second clue has been sent to Screenrant.
MV tells us that “looking at the newspaper clipping itself, you’ll notice that certain letters in the text are darker than others or marked. You’ll also noticed the burned picture underneath which appears to be from an unrelated article, or is it…So far no one has figured out where this is leading, but it looks like they are going to have a bit of fun with us in the meantime.”
The text of the newspaper clipping talks about Stark getting the company out of the weapons business after coming back from being kidnapped in the Mid East. Wasn’t that what happened in first film?
I don’t think it is the text that is important but rather the two words that are highlighted “Secret” and “Stark”.
The guys at Latino Review mention some very interesting things as well. “If you’re big on riddles, be sure to check out the larger version of the article page (by clicking the image [above]) so that no clue goes unnoticed. And is it just me or does the picture of a man ‘walking on air’ beneath the article seem to be a hint about something?”
Could they be referring to Howard Stark returning and not being dead.
