Could There Be An Entourage Feature Film?
The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that the hit series, Entourage may be getting a movie, executive producer Mark Wahlberg says there will be two more seasons of the HBO hit show and then a movie,
“We’ll see; there could be more,” Wahlberg stated, “But then, a movie.”"
It is not out of the realm of possibility,” offered an HBO spokeswoman. “Right now, the creators are concentrating on the new season.”
I think that this is cool. I have been sticking with the series even with its lows in story concept over the past few years. My biggest concern is how do you take a series that last 20 minutes per episode and make it into a feature film? I guess the argument there would be that the series episodes all together work like a feature film.
What I’d like to see in the film version is Vince actually find someone he falls in love with amidst a major career choice, etc. Also the Turtle/Jamie Lynn storyline is cool right now. I have to say too a Johnny Drama comeback in a big way would be sweet to see.
Sex and the City was a hit HBO series that got a film version and is now getting a sequel so this is no surprise that HBO is interested in the thought at this point. Entourage was recently tapped for a sixth season.
