Chris Nolan’s Inception Movie Poster Revealed!

Our pals at Slashfilm have gotten the goods with this new poster for Chris Nolan’s upcoming sci-fi film, Inception. The former tagline for the film or at least what we have heard about its premise was a “a contemporary sci-fi actioner set within the architecture of the mind.” On the new poster it reads “Your Mind is the Scene of the Crime.” This is slightly a bit more clear than the previous taglines for the film.

/Film reader Keaton M sends along word that a viral for Christopher Nolan’s Inception has begun, and revealed the first one sheet for the film. Here is how it happened:

“Well the spinning top as fallen on Inceptionmovie.com which reveals a mini game called Mind Crime where you can create a maze for people to play around in. After completion you are rewarded with the first poster.”

Nolan wrote the original screenplay, which stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Cillian Murphy, Ellen Page, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Marion Cotillard. This is Nolan’s first film since The Dark Knight and this will be the first look at his mysterious upcoming film. The film will open on July 16th, 2010, in both traditional theaters and in IMAX. DiCaprio is a CEO character named Cobb, Ellen Page is Ariadne -a grad student working for Cobb and a sidekick of sorts, Joseph Gordon-Levitt is Arthur – an associate to Cobb at his company, Tom Hardy is Eames, Ken Watanabe is Saito, Dileep Rao is Yusef, Cillian Murphy is Fischer, Tom Berenger is Browning and Marion Cotillard plays Cobb’s wife.
