Variety has confirmed that Kat Dennings’ will be in Marvel’s Thor and the role she will be in the film and is reporting that she will play Darcy, who works with Natalie Portman’s character, Jane Foster.
MTV Splash Page recently spoke with Thor star Natalie Portman, who was promoting her newest film Brothers, and she revealed that Kat Dennings (Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist) had a role in Thor as well saying:
“Well I’m really excited,” Portman told MTV News. “Kat Dennings is going to be in it with me and she’s a good friend and an amazing actress, so I’m looking forward to that.”
At the time Portman wouldn’t reveal the role but that has since been confirmed. Dennings is just a long line of people who have hit the Thor cast which includes the following;
Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Sir Anthony Hopkins as Odin, Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, Jamie Alexander as Sif, Tom Wilkinson as Loki, and many more will bring this comic book adaptation to life. Kenneth Branagh is directing the film.
