Interesting? Another Sequel to Three Men and a Baby In the Works?
First there was Three Men and a Baby, then there was Three Men and a Little Lady, now there is Three Men and a Bride? funny how the first 2 sound like nice family comedies but the third sounds like something you’d read on your Cinemax guide for some softcore porn film. Anyway, this seems like a logical chronological turn of events for building another sequel right? Well so does Disney. It seems that our little 80s baby is all grown up and is heading down the aisle.
Hollywood.com recently spoke with Three Men and a Baby star Steve Guttenberg, who revealed that Disney is moving forward with Three Men and a Bride. Here’s what Guttenberg had to say,
“Disney’s developing Three Men and a Bride. That’s going to be a smash. A smash hit. They’re bringing everybody back for that. Nobody knows about it. I’m the first to talk about it.”
Guttenberg also revealed he’d like to see sequels to two of his other 80s franchises as well:
“It’s definitely time for another Police Academy. And I think they could make another Cocoon. They’re surefire hits and I think they’re good for the world. They make the world a better place and that’s what it’s all about.”
We’ll be sure to keep you posted on any and all 80s sequels as they turn out which in today’s box office is rare because instead of sequel its all about rebooting the 80s. I never saw the second sequel to this series but I did see the first one and its a funny film. Guttenberg, Selleck and Danson were great and to see them older with the girl grown up would be fantastic sort of a Wild Hogs meets Father of the Bride.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Wild Hogs and Old Dogs director, Walt Becker, gets on board with this, though he has a lot of other projects coming up like Wild Hogs 2: The Bachelor Ride.
