TV News: Wilmer Valderrama to play “Dog Whisperer”
Wilmer Valderrama is set to star in a half-hour comedy show based on the life of “Dog Whisperer” Cesar Millan. The show will be written and executive produced by Emily Kapnek, who coproduces “Hung” for HBO. Barry Josephson will be an executive producer under his Josephson Entertainment banner.
I guess after the reality show, books, and appearances on shows like The Ghost Whisperer , it was only a matter of time before Millan got his own show. I’m just glad they chose an actor to play him, as opposed to Millan portraying himself. Valderrama’s wit and likable quality make him a safe choice for the role of Millan. Maybe this idea will actually develop into a pilot episode.
