TV News: Adam Carolla Developing Sitcom for NBC
NBC has reached an agreement with actor/radio personality Adam Carolla on a deal for a half-hour sitcom. On the proposed sitcom, Carolla project will play a contractor and father whose life is drasticall altered after his wife leaves him. Carolla will be an executive producer on the sitcom along with Kevin Hench, Jimmy Kimmel, Daniel Kellison, Gail Berman and Lloyd Braun. Carolla actually worked in the construction industry before gaining fame as a radio personality, giving a little more credence to the plot.
I enjoyed Carolla on Loveline and the Man Show, and the few times that I’ve listened to his podcast I’ve enjoyed it. Hopefully, this project will be on NBC’s schecdule next Fall.
