The MixerCast: Episode 4 - FirstShowing.Net Gets Caught in the Weekly Blender!
So my pal Alex, Owner/Webmaster of FirstShowing.Net, stopped by this latest episode of The Mixercast. Alex was so happy to dive head first into this week’s blender and got caught talking about Spider-Man 4, JJ Abrams vs. Bryan Singer vs. Joss Whedon, Is 3D a fad, gimmick or next evolution in filmmaking? and many other musings along the way.
In the final thoughts section Alex and I just rant on Green Lantern, Thor while geeking out on some breaking news at the time and many other stuff.
Check out Alex and his site FS.Net where their main focus is to cover all the latest in theatrical releases as well as the theatrical experience.

Music Heard on the podcast this week is from Star and Micey from their debut, self titled album, which will debut on October 20, 2009. Songs played were “My Beginning” and “On Your Own”“A blend of Memphis soul, lo-fi indie rock and singer-songwriter introspection. Cosby’s wide-eyed optimism shines through like chips of ice flecking a windowpane in the deep still of winter. With help from Luther Dickinson of The Black Crowes and the North Mississippi Allstars and Jody Stephens of the pioneering outfit Big Star, the band has delivered a record that hums with unflappable faith.“
