TV News: Joss Whedon to direct An Episode of Fox’s Hit Glee

Glee, the standout Fall show from Ryan Murphy (creator of Nip/Tuck) revolving around a high school glee club, has ingrained itself even further in the hearts and minds of geeks everywhere with the news that Buffy: The Vampire Slayer and Dollhouse creator/ubergeek Joss Whedon has agreed to direct one of the back nine episodes recently odered by Fox.

Whedon directed the extremely popular musical episode of Buffy, “Once More With Feeling”, and Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog. I have been watching Whedon’s latest show Dollhouse and I love Glee, so I am definitely looking forward to this. I wonder if he will be able to bring any Whedon show alumni along for the ride?
