WTF? A White Chicks 2 In Development at Sony?

In a story from The Hollywood Reporter it appears that The Wayans Brothers and Sony are developing a sequel to the 2004 comedy, White Chicks.

This new film will have its stars, Marlon and Shawn Wayans, returning to their roles as sibling FBI agents pretending to be a pair of white ladies. Keenen Ivory Wayans is directing with all three Wayans writing the screenplay. There is no word yet on what the plot of the film will be.

The original White Chicks was made for $37 million and grossed $70 million in the US.

I never saw the original because it looked massevily terrible and un-funny. I love the Wayans humor but this movie didn’t grab me the first time around so a sequel just makes me go WTF! That being said I commend the fact its stars and talent are all returning for the follow-up. Thats it, thats all I got nothing left to say except WRF, mate!
