Susan Surandon in Talks for Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps
The Wall Street sequel is collecting talent ranging from Shia Lebeouf, Michael Douglas, Javier Bardem and now it seems that Susan Sarandon is in talks to join Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps, which Oliver Stone is directing for 20th Century Fox.
Sarandon will play the mother of a young Wall Street trader (Shia Lebeouf) who falls under the seductive influence of Gordon Gekko. Frank Langella also starring in the film as well.
The sequel drama was scripted by Allan Loeb. Stone and Douglas produce with Edward R. Pressman and Eric Kopeloff. Production begins next month in New York. I am not real big fan of Surandon i hope her character will be minor and she will not have any lines blabbing about how she hates America and stuff. Lastly I am not excited about this movie at all, just another way for Hollywood to comment on our worldly state of affairs and push idealogies that make no sense.
