Rosario Dawson Joins Unstoppable

Production Weekly’s Twitter has an update on Tony Scott’s Unstoppable. Rosario Dawson has joined this upcoming thriller. It is uncertain which role she will play, but Denzel Washington stepped down from the lead because of a money dispute only to rejoin the film a week later. Chris Pine is also starring in the film, this is first movie since his portrayal of the iconic Captain Kirk in JJ Abram’s Star Trek.

The story s we have come to understand centers on a runaway train carrying a cargo of toxic chemicals. Denzel Washington and Chris Pine (playing an engineer and his conductor) are forced into a race against time, chasing the runaway train in a separate locomotive attempting to bring it under control before it derails on a curve and causes a toxic spill that will decimate a nearby town.
