MTV News Puts a Chokehold on Quinton Jackson A-Team Rumors
As reported yesterday, rumors were circulating that former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson had landed the role of B.A. Baracus in the upcoming A-Team motion picture.
However, MTV Movies Blog now reports that this rumor is false. MTV’s Adam Rosenberg contacted Jackson’s publicist who, in turn, spoke with Jackson’s manager who put the kibosh on the rumors.
I must say, that as a long-time UFC fan, I’m more than a little disappointed with this revelation. The flamboyant Jackson would have been an excellent choice to reprise the role made famous by the former bouncer and Rocky III bad guy, Mr. T.

After defeating then-champion Rashad Evan’s friend and training partner Keith Jardine, Jackson and Evans came face-to-face in the octagon for the most entertaining moment of trash-talking in UFC history:
