DVD Review: Dirty Sexy Money – The Final Season

Welcome to the world of business, lies, family and the dirty sexy money that backs it all up. Meet the Darling’s, America’s first family. This week season 2 of Dirty Sexy Money came out and I had a chance to watch it. This show had caught my eye when it first started on ABC, but I never got the chance to view it. So when I was asked to review it I jumped on the opportunity to do so.

Dirty Sexy Money revolves around the Darling family led by Donald Sutherland as the father, Tripp Darling. DSM gives us the opportunity to watch and learn how one of the richest families in the world handle their day to day problems whether it be affairs, murder, exploitation, backstabbing or dealing with the competition. And seeing how all this money can affect their home life as well. This show has a fairly well known cast attached to it ranging from Peter Krause (HBO’s Six Feet Under) to Blair Underwood, William Baldwin, and Lucy Liu amongst others.

Season 2 contains the final 13 episodes of the series. Special features on this include: Faux Pas – the bloopers from season 2 which is always one of my personal favorites when it come to the features, deleted scenes, A total knockout (spend a day in the life of Natalie Zea on the set), and Directing the Darling’s where we get to take a seat with director Jamie Babbit. I enjoyed watching this show and can honestly say that I would recommend it to anyone.

Score: Buy (7/10) This is a good show to give anyone a change or a break from everything else and a chance to look at something new. Also, if you at all like any of the actors or actresses in it, you will be enthralled with it.
