3 to Play Trivial Pursuits

When I first got wind of this film I thought it was another board game to film adaptation but turns out it is something a little bit more unique. Trivial Pursuits is an indie comedy that revolves around a group of academics that enter the world of competitive bar trivia, and finally get a chance at beer, women and nerdy redemption when they enter a citywide trivia tournament. Christopher Farah is directing while brother Mike Farah is producing.

Christopher Gorham, Arielle Kebbel and Chris Parnell have joined the indie comedy where Gorham and Kebbel are the love interests. Also appearing in the movie are Kip Pardue, Evan Jones, Nelson Franklin and Kali Hawk.

The movie just began shooting in Ann Arbor of which the Farahs are natives. Christopher is the former editor at Foreign Affairs magazine who left journalism for filmmaking, while Mike heads production for comedy Web site Funny or Die (our favorite laugher site).

I am looing forward to this film, the cast is skeptical, especially cuz the only 2 I know are Chris Parnell and Kip Pardue. Parnell is cool but what whole did Pardue climb out of? Anyway competive bar trivia is something that I take very seriously as it was something I was very good at in my college days and even more so now.
