Official Photos of the The Expendables Surface
Unfortunately we were not surprised at all by the Expendables at Comic-Con this year after a teasing ad campaign at this year’s Cannes it seemed almost fitting that they would surprise Hall H at some point this weekend but it never came to be.
I just got a hold of these photos for the film which will be released April 23, 2010. The UK audiences will get the release on April 10, 2010 so let’s hope FilmShaft’s all over it – I know they’ll be.
Written and directed by Sylvester Stallone The Expendables is about a team of mercenaries led by Barney Ross (Stallone). The team consists of Lee Christmas (Jason Statham), Bao (Jet Li), Gunnar Jensen (Dolph Lundgren), and Emanuel (Mickey Rourke), who head to South America on a mission to overthrow a dictator only to find out they’ve been double crossed!
The movie also stars Randy Couture, Eric Roberts, Danny Trejo, Charisma Carpenter, Steve Austin, Terry Cr, Brittany Murphy and David Zayas. It even features a cameo from Arnold Schwarzenegger.
