Marvel’s Deadpool to Break Fourth Wall in Film Adaptation

“Break the fourth wall? Oh yeah, he’s got to. I want to see him break the Great Wall,” Reynolds told Empire today. And as for his decapitated head at the end of Wolverine, well, “that we won’t speak of.”

Much has been speculated if this would be a key component to the Deadpool film currently in development at Marvel starring Ryan Reynolds. Such an integral part of the comics is Deadpool’s soliloquies to the reader, usually humorous in some way they add depth and difference to his character. In case you were wondering what breaking the fourth wall means. The term applies to “the boundary between any fictional setting and its audience.” When that is broken w call it breaking the fourth wall. In the comics, Deadpool is often aware that he is a comic book character.

All i have to say is that Ryan Reynolds is perfect for this and it sis nice that they want to explore this which makes deadpool that much more interesting because no other comic-book film does this at least that I am aware of. Let’s just hope its not cheesy.
