2009 Comic-Con: Tim Burton Talks Alice in Wonderland + A Johnny Depp Surprise
In this part of the panel Tim Burton came out with Patton Oswault and they chatted about the movie and elements of film especially why Burton was drawn to the project and finally the elements from Lewis Carroll’s books.
“All his material, the Jabberwacky poem, all the elements of Wonderland that had movement and emotion, weird dialogue and stuff we tried to use the material so there would be new and true look to the universe. This one felt good to me, a weird journey, thematic nature, Wonderland will be hard to top.” \
The rest of the panel was somewhat underwhelming due to the fact the trailer we saw was the same that leaked yesterday. However many fans and screaming girls had a simultnaeous orgasm when Johnny Depp walked out on stage to greet everybody. Pretty cool when he entered the room.
