Zombieland Photos Surface! Get Your First Look
Ain’t It Cool News just made the first 4 images of Zombieland available to the masses. Woody Harrelson has signed on to star in the horror comedy Zombieland, which revolves around a mismatched pair of survivors who find friendship and redemption in a world overrun by zombies. Harrelson plays one of the men, a zombie fighter named Albuquerque. Zombieland comes to theaters October 9 from Columbia Pictures.
The pics also feature other cast members like Jesse Eisenberg as Flagstaff, Emma Stone as Wichita, wielding a shotgun and even Abigail Breslin as Little Rock.
Interesting the characters are named after cities. After America is ravaged by a zombie plague, a lone band of survivors fights the living dead while they cross the nation from coast to coast. They stop in an amusement park, where they believe they will be safe.
The zombies in the film have been described not the lumbering walking dead from the George Romero zombie movies, but instead the super jacked up 28 Days Later/Dawn of the Dead (2004) zombies. They are scary and gnarly and gross and Bill Murray is supposed to cameo as one.
I simply can’t wait to see this movie! Zombies rule!
