The trailer for 2012 comes courtesy of Yahoo (via our pals at Trailer Addict). Never before has a date in history been so significant to so many cultures, so many religions, scientists, and governments. A global cataclysm brings an end to the world and tells of the heroic struggle of the survivors.
The movie stars John Cusak, Amanda Peet, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Danny Glover, Thandie Newton, Oliver Platt, Thomas McCarthy, Woody Harrelson, Chin Han, Morgan Lily and Beatrice Rosen and is directed by Roland Emmerich.
From an effects standpoint this could be Emmerich’s best film since Independence Day but it does look the story might be too slow, much like Day After Tomorrow. John Cusak is awesome though and it is cool to see him in somewhat action role.
