WTF? A Cliffhanger Reboot?

StudioCanal is poised to reboot the action adventure climbing thriller that was done back in 93 starring Sylvester Stallone. Variety is reporting that Neal Moritz is wanting to partner with StudioCanal via his Original Films banner.

“Just as they rebooted Star Trek, we’re going to do the same with Cliffhanger, “

Who wakes up one day and decides they are going to reboot Cliffhanger? I mean did Moritz say man Star Trek was badass! let’s do a Cliffhanger reboot? I mean I could careless about some young group of climbers on some kind of action adventure in the woods. Didn’t they do that movie already anyway? Wasn’t it called Vertical Limit. You know what though this type of crap is the kind junk that people get sucked into seeing because they will cast someone like Shia LeBeouf in it. WTF…I say it with utter dispair. Just because someone can reboot Star Trek or Batman doesn’t mean that a Cliffhanger reboot is necessary. I put this in the crappy remake/reboot box with Karate Kid and Indy 4.
