Iron Man 2 Update - John Favreau’s Twitter and Another Tony Stark Image

Director Jon Favreau has been posting updates from the set of Iron Man 2 via Twitter and here is some of the latest entries from the hip director of last summers action hit.

May 1: “Wrecking the joint. Not much left of the set. Broken stuff everywhere. Should look cool on screen.”
May 4: “More suited destruction today. Rigging a big gag with lots of cameras.”
May 4: “ILM on set today. Doing a mix of practical suits and Imocap, their version of on set motion capture developed originally for Pirates 2.”
May 6: “Scarlett’s first day on set in the Black Widow outfit. You’ve never heard a crew get so quiet so fast.”
May 6: Now shooting first scene with Tony Stark and Nick Fury.
Twitter has become such an awesome resource for bloggers not only on an interaction scale but also way to keep up to date with some inside access to directors, actors and other interesting people. Twitter also has a way of grabbing the attention of a service like a web hosting company, who’s customer service has been awful and tweet about it, then all of a sudden you get a phone call from a senio engineer and your website becomes top priority. ( Sorry, I am off the subject…)
Iron Man 2 is shaping up and we also have the first image of Downey Jr. back in the suit for the upcoming film. People.com had the first look. He’s suited up and ready to save the world! Back in action on the Iron Man 2 set, Robert Downey Jr. shoots a scene for the action film Wednesday in Los Angeles.
