Hot Tub Time Machine Casts 3 More On Board
MGM’s time travel comedy, Hot Tub Time Machine just cast Lizzy Caplan (Cloverfield, The Class, Party Down) Crispin Glover (Back to the Future, Beowulf) and Sebastian Stan (Kings, Gossip Girl) who join John Cusak, Rob Corddry and Craig Robinson in the goofy film.
The Hollywood Reporter reports that,
“Steve Pink is directing the story of a group of friends who go back to the ski lodge where they partied as teens and end up transported to 1987 through their hot tub. Caplan will play the lone woman in the story: April, a romantic interest of Cusack’s character. Glover is playing Phil, a one-armed, accident-prone bellhop at Silver Peaks Lodge. Stan will play Blaine, the ski-jock nemesis of Corddry’s character.”
The film revolves around a group of frustrated friends who hit a hot tub at the ski resort where they partied as teens and get transported back to 1987. I am a huge Cusak fan loving films like Grosse Pointe Blank and High Fidelity as well Say Anything and with Pink, who wrote Pointe Blank and Fidelity directing the film it seems like it should be weirdly fun.
