Ralph Fiennes and Liam Neeson Join Clash of the Titans

As we near closer to the production date of The Clash of the Titans, the new re-imaging of the classic Greek god action flick, we are starting to get wind of more actors signing on to play god for the project. Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes are in negotiations to join the film. Neeson is pegged to play Zeus and Fiennes is pegged to play Hades.

According to the Variety article,

“Ralph Fiennes is in advanced negotiations to star as Hades, the lord of the underworld, in helmer Louis Leterrier’s “Clash of the Titans” for Warner Bros. Liam Neeson is set to co-star as Zeus in the re-imagining of the Greek myth of Perseus.”

This project is sounding better and better each day as there is already a pretty good ensemble formed for the remake from director, Louis Letterier, including the likes of Gemma Arterton, Mads Mikkelsen, Alexa Davalos and Sam Worthington. Both actors are great choices as they play evil and good so well and vice-versa. Fiennes is pretty much Hades in his role as Voldemort and Neeson is pretty much a more “good” god as Aslan in the Narnia series.
