Mickey Rourke and Megan Fox to Get Angelic for Passion Plays
Today it is another day where I get to post about the insatiable Megan Fox, who as always is a delight post about. It seems the girl is becoming even more heavenly and angelic as she and Mickey Rourke are signed on to start alongside one another for Passion Plays. THR’s Risky Business Blog writes,
“Mitch Glazer is writing and directing the film…which revolves around Rourke, a downtrodden trumpet player who finds redemption after he tries to save Fox’s character from a gangster in 1950s Los Angeles. Fox is described as a beauty with ‘actual wings’ who works at a carnival.”
Glazer, who has written such films as The Recruit and Scrooged, will be making his directorial debut on the film.
Glazer isn’t a bad writer as both those films were fairly solid but this is definitely a different type of movie and its seems more like Glazer’s Scrooged film. Megan Fox is what has me sold but Rourke’s emergence is also an easy sell for me as well. Rourke was great in the drama , The Diner and The Wrestler and with this being Fox’s first drama it will be interesting to see her range.
