DVD News: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Season 7 on DVD May 12!

Cowabunga Dudes! The classic, pop culture famed animated television series that ran from 1987-1997, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Season 7 hits DVD on May 12 courtesy of Lionsgate Home Entertainment.

It’s been 25 years since Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raphael, and Donatello, emerged from the sewers of Manhattan and were transformed into heroes-in-a-half-shell battling petty criminals, evil megalomaniacs, and alien invaders. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles®, Lionsgate Home Entertainment is presenting all 27 episodes of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Season 7, available for the first-time ever on DVD.  Fans can collect the commemorative set that will be sold as four separate DVDs, each featuring different episodes from Season 7 and a Mini-Classic Turtles Action Figure!  All four DVDs feature a different turtle on the cover, and fit together to create one power-packed scene with all of the wise-cracking, pizza-obsessed superheroes aligned and ready for battling evil.  The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Season 7 DVDs will be available on May 12th, for the suggested retail price of $14.98 each.

SYNOPSIS

Season 7 - Part 1 (Episodes 1-6):  The Leonardo Slice - It’s been 25 awesome years (whoa!) since four turtles fell into the sewers and were transformed into radical heroes-in-a-half-shell.  Join the shellebration as the heroic Turtles save the Eiffel Tower, stop a glacier meltdown, ride a wild tidal wave and much, much more in six outrageously exciting adventures!

Season 7 - Part 2 (Episodes 7-13): The Michelangelo Slice -Get ready for more totally tubular Turtle excitement!  Whether they’re battling monster sheep, sleuthing with Sherlock Holmes, or putting the freeze on a deadly heat ray, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles take adventure to the max in these seven shredding episodes.

Season 7 - Part 3 (Episodes 14-20): The Donatello Slice -Can the Turtles stop a dangerous threat from Dimension X?  Will Shredder and Krang activate the dreaded Technodrome?  Has Donatello lost his senses - for good? Grab some pizza and find out all the answers in these action-filled adventures starring everyone’s favorite martial arts master Turtles.

Season 7 - Part 4 (Episodes 21-27): The Raphael Slice - Hang on for an awesome adventure ride as the Turtles face some of their gnarliest challenges yet - a vengeful fly who wants to change all humans into insects; a Mutant Hunter who’s targeted the Turtles; an army of explosive robots and more - in this bodacious collection every Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fan will love.
