The Green Lantern Film Details Surface!

So producer of the upcoming Green Lantern film at Warner Brothers and DC Comics has had some little details surface that will definitely make fans happy with the direction of the project. Producer, Donald De Line, spoke with Collider about the details, including it being similar in tone to Marvel’s Iron Man film,

“It is absolutely a big action/adventure piece and fantasy obviously as we go out into space with the Green Lantern. And it’s Hal Jordan. It will absolutely have a sense of humor as well, character based humor. So it’s not dark it that regard. It is absolutely a big action/adventure piece and fantasy obviously as we go out into space with the Green Lantern. And it’s Hal Jordan. Also we have read in the interwebs that they are NOT going for a younger Hal Jordan – they’re looking for someone in their late 20’s/early 30’s. This makes me happy and makes me campaign even harder for John Hamm to have the role of Hal Jordan. I like everything I have heard about this project so far and hope to hear more good things down the road.
