Steve Austin joins The Expendables
So yesterday we talked about Charisma Carpenter joining the cast of the new SLy Stallone ensemble film, The Expendables.
Now Stone Cold himself, Steve Austin, is ready to lay down some Austin 3:16 action on someone’s candy ass! Yes, that is right, the guy who made watching Wrestling fun for me is going to be joining the film that just has me excited for the pure action star studded cast. Now if we could only get Van Damme in the film, the roster would complete. I used to love Austin in his recurring role as a friend, muscle and informant to Nash Bridges. I am sure he will playing that sort of role or the same type of role that Jesse Ventura played in Predator.
According to Variety,
“WWE alum “Stone Cold” Steve Austin…been added to the cast of “The Expendables,” starring, written and directed by Sylvester Stallone. Cast includes Mickey Rourke and Jason Statham. Austin recently wrapped fight pic “Damage” and inked a TV development deal with Original Media and Caliber Media.”
