Sam Huntington and Brandon Routh reteam for Dead of Night

Sam Huntington is reteaming with Brandon Routh, his Superman Returns co-star, in the comic book adaptation Dead of Night. Directed by Kevin Munroe, the film began shooting in New Orleans last week.  Routh will play Dylan Dog, a detective drawn into the world of the supernatural.  Huntington will play Dylan’s sidekick Marcus.   The film is based on Tiziano Sclavi’s popular Italian comic Dylan Dog.  It’s kind of interesting to see the latest Clark Kent and Jimmy Olsen working on a different project.  Also, it seems as if Routh is aiming for a comic book movie hat trick with Superman Returns, Scott Pilgrim and Dead of Night. Routh may be a bit of a fanboy.
