TV News: Morena Baccarin cast in ‘V’

My personal Wonder Woman, Morena Baccarin has been cast as the lead in the ABC drama “V.”
“V,” from WBTV, is a re-imagining of the 1980s miniseries about an invasion of aliens known as Visitors and the resistance against them. Baccarin will play Anna, the leader of the Visitors who is remarkably knowledgeable about human culture and media manipulation.
I have absolutely no knowledge or experience with the ’80s miniseries, but I have plenty of experience with Morena! I fell in love with her in my all time favorite television show, Firefly. She played the lovely and talented “companion” (space prostitute) on the Joss Whedon project. Let me tell you, she played the best space whore ever and I really look forward to watching “V.”
UPDATE: Kevin Coll wanted me to mention that she was a really good baddie chick in the 10th Season of Stargate SG-1 so she will do well as a baddie alien babe in this show. I have not seen a single episode of Stargate SG-1 so I’ll take your word for it Kevin. :D
