Dan Harris is Taking Audiences Through Hell in Dante’s Inferno

Universal Pictures has tapped Dan Harris to write Dante’s Inferno a live-action film based on the Electronic Arts video game where players journey through the depths of hell.

Harris co-wrote Superman Returns and X-Men 2 neither of which I was a big fan of.

Strike Entertainment’s Marc Abraham and Eric Newman are producing with EA Entertainment. Patrick O’Brien from EA and the guy who made the game, Jonathan Knight will be involved in the development of the film so hopefully it will be true to the essence of the source material.
