Charisma Carpenter in The Expendables
So another cast member has joined the already interesting ensemble that is The Expendables, the latest project from Sly Stallone. The interesting thing is the group of actors minus Jason Statham and a resurged Mickey Rourke seem like the has been’s of the 70s/80s action films. But the boys are now getting a sex kitten to join the ranks as Angel/Buffy’s Cordelia Chase is joining the cast playing Jason Statham’s girlfriend in the film.
According to the TV Guide’s Mega Minute Scoops,
“Mickey Rourke, Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger and … Buffy’s Cordelia?! Get the scoop on Charisma Carpenter’s latest role (and her hunky on-screen boyfriend!).”
The other news of who Carpenter’s boy toy in the film will be comes from our friends over at the Movie Blog.
“So in Expendables, she will be playing the girlfriend of badass Jason Statham. At least now we know that this action flick will not be short of its token hotties and vague love interests.”
So “Hansome Rob” gets all the hotties, I last saw Charisma in the Veronica Mars series, playing a goldigging trophy, step mom to two of the show’s main characters.
