Another Valentine’s Day Movie List That You Can Stand and She Will Love.

  1. My Bloody Valentine 3D is a 2009 remake of the 1981 Canadian slasher film of the same name. The film was directed and edited by Patrick Lussier and stars Jensen Ackles and Jaime King. The film had a 3-D theatrical release; It was released on January 16, 2009 by Lionsgate, to surprisingly positive reviews and box office success.
  2. Mamma Mia! is a 2008 stage-to-film adaptation of the 1999 West End musical of the same name, based on the songs of successful pop group ABBA, with additional music also composed by ABBA member Benny Andersson. Meryl Streep heads the cast of the film, playing the role of single mother Donna Sheridan. Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth, and Stellan Skarsgård play the three possible fathers to Donna’s daughter Sophie (Amanda Seyfried).
  3. How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days is a 2003 romantic comedy film. The film is directed by Donald Petrie and stars Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey. It is based on a short cartoon book of the same name by Michele Alexander and Jeannie Long.
  4. The Princess Bride a classic fairy tale, with swordplay, giants, an evil prince, a beautiful princess, and yes, some kissing
  5. Hitch is a 2005 romantic comedy film starring Will Smith, Eva Mendes, Kevin James, and Amber Valletta. The film is directed by Andy Tennant and written by Kevin Bisch. Smith plays a professional matchmaker, who makes a living teaching men how to woo women. The film was released on February 11, 2005 by Columbia Pictures.
  6. Just Friends is a 2005 Christmas film starring Ryan Reynolds and Amy Smart. Its tagline is “Moments like this have been ruining friendships for centuries.”
  7. Fools Rush In is a 1997 romantic comedy film directed by Andy Tennant. Matthew Perry and Salma Hayek star. What if finding the love of your life meant changing the life that you loved? An impulsive love story.
  8. Bridget Jones’s Diary is a British 2001 romantic comedy film, based on the novel of the same name written by Helen Fielding. The adaptation starred Renee Zellweger as Bridget, Hugh Grant as the caddish Daniel Cleaver and Colin Firth as Bridget’s ‘true love’ Mark Darcy. A sequel, Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason, was released in 2004.
  9. 13 Going On 30 is a 2004 comedy movie starring Jennifer Garner. It has a similar premise to the films Wish Upon a Star, and Freaky Friday, in which girls’ souls were swapped into different bodies. Unlike the movies Big, “Vice Versa”, and “14 Going On 30″ (1988), in which boys were physically transformed into adult men, in this movie a 13 year old girl appears to skip 17 years of her life, and wakes up as a successful businesswoman in the future. It was produced by Revolution Studios for Columbia Pictures.
  10. Knocked Up is a 2007 American comedy film, co-produced, written and directed by Judd Apatow. Starring Seth Rogen, Katherine Heigl, Paul Rudd, and Leslie Mann, the film follows the repercussions of a drunken one night stand between Rogen’s slacker character and Heigl’s just-promoted media personality character that results in an unintended pregnancy.
