Fused Photos: Another Terminator Salvation Photo
Geoff Boucher over at the LA Times, Hero Complex blog, got a first look at a new picture for Terminator Salvation.
According to Boucher,
“This scene shows Christian Bale as the adult John Connor of 2018 where he and humanity are locked in an ugly (and losing) battle with the murderous machines of Skynet. The film opens May 22 and I will be writing a lot more about it between now and then.”
This particular scene is supposedly a very pivotal part of the story. Now this is nothing compared to the awesome trailer we just saw but it is a cool picture and just furthers my excitement as a fan of the series and a fan of this new take of the franchise, finally giving us a look John Conner in his future fight against the machines! This has been the story I have been waiting for.
Terminator Salvation opens up in theaters May 22, 2009.
Set in post-apocalyptic 2018, John Connor (Christian Bale), the man fated to be the leader of the human resistance against Skynet and its army of Terminators, and the future he was raised to believe in is altered in part by the appearance of Marcus Wright (Sam Worthington), a stranger whose last memory is of being on death row. Connor must decide whether Marcus has been sent from the future, or rescued from the past. As Skynet prepares its final onslaught, Connor and Marcus both embark on an odyssey that takes them into the heart of Skynet’s operations, where they find out a terrible secret that may lead to the possible annihilation of mankind.
The film is being directed by McG (Charlie’s Angels) with a script written by John D. Brancato and Michael Ferris (Into the Sun, The Net, The Game, and Terminator 3). Note: Screenwriter Jonanthan Nolan (The Dark Knight) has apparently consulted and done some heavy script work on the screenplay as well.
