So we have had a podcast and some posts on this project and I must say that with out a doubt I am really excited about this movie, probably more than a Batman 3, Star Trek or any other film of recent memory. About a week ago we posted that production of Green Lantern was in motion for this spring.

Now, Latino Review received word from their “trusted source” at Warner Bros. claims the studio is eying up Ryan Gosling to portray Hal Jordan/Green Lantern.

This is all purely speculative and Warner Brothers hasn’t come out with a statement or confirmed this so chalk it up as rumor right now. Regarding this notion that Gosling could be the Green Lantern is not a bad choice. He certainly would make a great choice to play Hal Jordan. I still like Chris Pine as Hal Jordan though, I could Gosling playing more of a Kyle Rayner/Green Lantern rather than Jordan.  Maybe they will Notebook it and get Rachel McAdams to play Jade? OK so that may be a stretch.
