Freaks of the Heartland coming soon?
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Steve Niles’ Freaks of the Heartland may be coming to a theatre near you from the folks at Overture Films. THR also says that David Gordon Green (All the Real Girls, Snow Angels, Pineapple Express) will be directing the flick.
Published by the folks at Dark Horse Comics and penned by Steve Niles, Freaks of the Heartland follows a young boy’s unveiling of a dreaded secret locked in the hearts of everyone in a tiny Bible Belt town… a secret that has come to threaten the very lives of the town’s most innocent citizens.
