If DC are paying attention to their own properties. They would utilitze ALL-STAR SUPERMAN as the backbone of these new films. There are few stories more awesome and fantastical, then those found in ALL-STAR SUPERMAN.

If they do not want to disappoint people. They might open one of those trades, and let Grant lead the way. He's a Brit, but he knows the essence of Supes. Essence being something missing from a Superman flick along with EPIC FREAKIN FIGHT SCENES.

So here's to DC working it out. If not; they suck.

Ugh. While it's good that they're taking a cue from Marvel in terms of developing their DC Universe, why the Hell does Superman need to mimic the tone of Batman Begins? I like The Dark Knight, but let it be its own thing. Just because Christopher Nolan replaces fantastical wonder with brooding realism doesn't mean Superman needs to do it to. What makes Superman so great is the bigger than big wonder the property has, as well as the apple-pie Americana that Richard Donner explored so well in Superman: The Movie. Why do we need to copy Christopher Nolan? Let Superman be its own thing in terms of style and tone, and when/if they crossover it will be more interesting.
