Warner Bros has released a new image from Terminator Salvation of Christian Bale as John Connor going head to head with Sam Worthington as Marcus Wright.

All grown up in post-apocalyptic 2018, John Connor (Christian Bale) must lead the resistance of humans against the increasingly dominating militaristic robots in this fourth installment of the popular action-packed Terminator series. But when Marcus Wright (Sam Worthington) appears, his existence confuses the mission as Connor tries to determine whether Wright has come from the future or the past — and whether he’s friend or foe.

This year at Comic-Con and our friends at Geeks of Doom, told us the footage was awesome and this movie is going to surprise a lot of people.

This looks like a pretty gritty scene here where I am assuming they will most likely fight each other and based on the synopsis above Marcus seems like an interesting character, friend or foe.

I have been a proponent of this film since they announced it and judging by the fan reactions at Comic-Con this movie will rule some ass! McG is seriously going to be surprise some people with this movie and Christian Bale is always good in these role types.

Terminator Salvation hits theaters on May 22nd 2009.
