Welcome back to our Fused Film Tuesday DVD Release Feature. Where we go around the internet and compile some of the major DVD releases that we think you the reader will be interested in. Nixon: The Election Year Edition - Just in time for the upcoming presidential election political film fans can enjoy one the best presidential biopics of all time, NIXON: The Election Year Edition. The film follows the story of former US president Richard Nixon (Anthony Hopkins), who battled his way to the White House, only to be driven out in one of US history’s most famous scandals, Watergate. TV Releases

Terminator: The Sarah Conner Chronicles - The Complete First Season - The Terminator franchise arrives on TV with this serial drama. The series picks up a year after the events of Terminator 2: Judgment Day with John and Sarah Connor (Thomas Dekker and Lena Headey) hiding from the government. After two years in one place Sarah decides they need a change of scenery and in doing so they expose themselves to FBI Agent James Ellison (Richard T. Jones) and Skynet’s army of Terminators including Cameron Phillips (Summer Glau) a reprogrammed Terminator sent to protect John. She informs them that Judgment Day was not stopped and will take place in 2011. John convinces Sarah to stop hiding and fight so Cameron takes them to a time machine the resistance has set up to take them to the year Skynet was created 2007. (TV.com)

Gossip Girl: The Complete First Season [5 Discs] - Based on the popular book series of the same name, this drama gives viewers a peek into the world of privileged teenagers on an elite private school in New York City. The story is written by The O.C.’s Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, and directed by Mark Piznarski who has worked on series like Everwood and Veronica Mars. Surface’s Leighton Meester and Accepted’s Blake Lively have taken the lead roles in this drama series. They will play Blair and Serena respectively, rich Manhattan rivals at a private school in New York. The last additions to this new CW drama are Misconceptions Taylor Momsen, The Covenant’s Chace Crawford and The Bedford Diaries’s Penn Badgley. Their characters are Momsen as Jenny a 14 year-old and shy girl, Nate the good looking boyfriend of Blair, and Dan the secret admirer of Serena. E-Ring’s Kelly Rutherford and The Jury’s has been cast as the mother of lead role Serena. Rutherford will play the mother of Serena van der Woodsen (Lively’s character), a former ballerina and rock groupie. Afterlife’s Ed Westwick has been cast as Chuck Bass and Brothers and Sisters’ Matthew Settle has been cast as Jenny and Dan’s father, Rufus Humphrey. (TV.com)
