Wolverine Trailer Leaked! from Comic-Con 2008

So below is the trailer for Fox’s upcoming Wolverine film that was shown at Comic-Con. I do not know how long this will be up so I am going to write my description below after the trailer embeds just in case you miss it.

Description:

The trailer opens up with the 20th century fox brand mark. Then we see Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) and Sabertooth (Liev Schrieber) sitting in a prison cell. The shots cuts to them both tied up on posts in front of a shooting line. They fire at the two and the camera pans into them screaming. then we cut back to them both in a cell alive and Sabretooth asks, “how did it feel” and Wolverine responds “it tickles”

Then we go to a cut scene of a helicopter and then William Stryker (Danny Huston) hits the screen and begins a voice-over about the Weapon X program and we see a multitude of cut shots of Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds)-posing for the camera with his two samurai swords and no mask on.  Interspersed between this are shots of them running through the woods being surrounded by a group of soldiers in a circle while amping up to fight.

We see Wolverine telling Sabertooth that this isn’t a program he signed up for and then he is then seen in the water tank where they presumably pump him full of adamanitum metal. Then he is seen thrashing much like the scenes in X-Men and X2. It cuts to a handful of cards are tossed toward the screen, and the camera pans to reveal none other than Gambit (Taylor Kitsch) holding his electrically-enhanced staff. (I thought this was sweet)

Quick shots insue on the screen with a child Wolverine who screams with his claws burst out of his hands, Sabertooth lunges across the ground like an animal and attacks Wolverine. Then there are cuts to Wolverine getting punched in a boxing ring by the massive Blob (Kevin Durand), Wolverine goes one-on-one with Gambit, and then we see a blonde girl(possibly Silver Fox) who begins to have electricity sparkle all throughout her body.

There is a big montage of Marvel characters on the screen and then a final set of clips shows off a very a set piece with Wolverine facing off on his motorcycle against a truck, and eventually climaxes with him launching thirty feet in the air onto a helicopter.

The title comes on screen: X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

Then we see Wolverine looking at Saberooth quite pissed off and quips, “I’m gonna cut your goddamn head off; see if that works.”

Ultimately I am very pleased with this film so far and can’t wait to see it on the big-screen. I think the cast of characters is intriguing and looks sweet. I love how the film ties in the previous X-men films mythos and makes for a great prequel/sequel/spin-off. Also I had speculation when Liev Schrieber was announced to play Sabretooth but after seeing him in this trailer, he looks good.
