Watchmen Trailer – What Do You Think?

So the new Watchmen trailer is out and I have to say my feelings are mixed. It seems to me Alan Moore’s stories never translate well on the big screen and while I liked 300 for being true to Frank Miller’s graphic novel look, to me this movie just gives me a sense that Hollywood is taking a good story and making it just to make it. I was very critical of the costumes early on and that sentiment still rains true and I know that superhero costumes are hard to translate to the big screen but even so their style combined with the cgi in this movie kind of leave with the feeling of whatever.

I will go home and read Watchmen again and then watch this trailer again, maybe I will think differently.
